The people, not just the dance

Dance has always been a huge part of both of our lives. The common thread has never just been dance itself, but always the people.

We have been dancing together for 20 years. Always with each other, we danced through primary school, high school and then went on to full time training. Reflecting on all of those years, we realised recently that we were missing having more people to dance with. NoCo is our way of filling that gap, for ourselves and for you.

Niamh

After training at Ev and Bow Full Time Training Centre, Niamh took the journey to Perth and graduated from WAAPA in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts (Dance), receiving the Peter Hurford and Palisade Awards for excellence. During her studies she spent a semester at SUNY Purchase College, New York, performing with Purchase Dance Company. Earlier this year Niamh performed with Twisted Element Co in their Machine Hall season of AURA MECHANICA, and in 2025 she concluded a season at the Art Gallery of Western Australia performing in Dance Grass Dance Tree by Zheng Bo and Tyrone Earl Lrae Robinson, alongside Talitha Maslin.

Chloe

After Ev and Bow training, Chloe studied a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Acting) at AFTT in Sydney. Her performance credits include lead roles in short film and theatre, including Herself (EMERGE/AFTT), Saudade (USYD) and Oliver Twist, as well as commercial and campaign work including Hyundai. Her theatre experience includes productions with Belvoir working with director Anthony Skuse, UTS Theatre and AFTT, giving her first-hand experience across both professional and emerging performance environments. Alongside performing, Chloe has years of experience teaching and mentoring dancers of all ages.

A space for you

Reconnecting after our studies and work, we wanted to create the space we have missed so dearly and couldn't find anywhere else. A space that feels genuine and safe, where you can come after a hard day or a great day, to chat with a friend or simply move. NoCo is that place, and we will see you there.
